CCTV (CAMERA SYSTEMS)
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a visual surveillance technology with the purpose to monitor a variety of environments and activities. CCTV cameras can act as a very successful deterrent to thieves and burglars, certainly making them think twice at the very least. Should they ignore the deterrent, you will be able to provide footage and evidence of the suspects involved in criminal acts.
One of the primary benefits of digital security camera systems is that you’re not limited to viewing your video surveillance system on site. The advancements in video surveillance technology have made it possible to view your security cameras from any internet enabled PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
There are many models and options for cameras, available with night vision, zoom capability, and variety of lenses, to give you a clear vision of the premises day or night. The Security Dome Team will meet with you, assess the property and custom design and install an effective camera and recording system to suit the specific environment and surveillance needs for your home.
Our Team covers the following areas: Brisbane, Ipswich, Redland Bay and Logan.
IMPORTANT NOTE
We don’t recommend wireless systems as they are prone to frequency jammers. All our CCTV Systems are wired.

- Vandal resistant
- Indoor & outdoor use

UPS Protection
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is a device that allows a camera system to keep running for at least a short time when the power source is lost.
Detectors
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is a device that allows a camera system to keep running for at least a short time when the primary power source is lost. It also provides protection from power surges. A UPS contains a battery that “kicks in” when the device senses a loss of power from the primary source.
The Security Dome can provide an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to protect your CCTV system.
When it comes to deciding which security camera is the best, you should always consider – what you want your camera to do.
- Should be visible or blend with surroundings?
- Should it cover a narrow and narrow, or large and wide area?
Once we understand these aspects we can work out what system you should have and provide you with an informed decision.
